- Project Management: Manage small and large projects involving SaaS-based products, integrations and custom solutions. Ensure Agile and Waterfall methodology best practices are implemented. Manage team backlog, user stories definition, sprint planning, development, test and delivery processes.
- Resource Management: Identify skillsets required for projects, build appropriate teams with employees and sub-contractors, both local and offshore, and manage resources assignments. Oversee off-shore resources to avoid issues around culture, time zone, local work practices, and connectivity.
- Communications: Communicate effectively and appropriately among stakeholders, project team, company finance and executives. Ensure clients are fully informed of all aspects of projects thru status reports, issues, risk logs and other artifacts.
- Business Analysis: Collaborate with users and project stakeholders to understand requirements of the business, internal/external interfaces, regulatory restrictions, and desired improvements to business productivity. Identify product gaps, prioritize and escalate issues, and develop workarounds where necessary. Work closely with development, test, and delivery to ensure a quality delivered product. Focus on identifying and mitigating risks and gaps.
- Financial Management: Manage T&M and fixed price contracts to maintain appropriate revenue and margin. Monitor financials at various levels and communicate to internal and external stakeholders.
- Contract Management: Ensure project progression within budget and schedule. Identify, track and communicate risks and issues to appropriate levels. Manage scope and contract changes throughout project, driving contract completion with deliverables and signoffs. Coordinate interactions between clients, partners, sub-contractors and vendors.
- Client Proposals & Demos: Understand client needs, pain points, abilities and limitations, and demonstrate how positive change can be achieved. Propose solutions taking into account estimation models, project plans, risk, and costs. Write SOW/LOEs to detail project deliverables and contractual obligations.
- Consulting Experience: 15+ years experience consulting with clients in the Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance, Telecom, and State and Federal Government industries. Working experience in each discipline of the software lifecycle: solution conception, requirements, development, test, training, implementation and go-live. Able to leverage technical background and skills to support many industries.
